Our Services

Procurement/Supply Chain Management

It’s very easy to view procurement as simply a tactical function whose main goal is cutting costs.  However, a truly effective procurement function leverages the best of category management, contracting and procurement operations.  It must fully encompass the understanding of the internal needs of the organization, effective assessment of supply market capabilities, and open collaboration between suppliers and the buying organization. As a result, effective procurement solutions can deliver lower total cost of ownership without sacrificing service and quality.

Our services focus on key disciplines such as category management and procurement operations.

Category Management

Category Management is a methodical approach to maximizing value through segmenting spend into similar product service lines and common internal business stakeholders. The four pillars of category management are category planning, strategic sourcing, supplier management and strategic cost management. We work with clients to successfully execute the four pillars to help them increase their profitability.

Procurement Operations

Operational Procurement is often viewed as a reactive activity but we approach it from the perspective of being proactive so you can realize cost savings and improve service levels through inventory management, efficient Procure-to-Pay processes and warehouse management. World class operational procurement is all about moving from transactional procurement to strategic procurement that results in a streamlined cost effective operations.

Supplier Diversity

Supplier Diversity is a supply chain strategy that delivers value to the business.  It is a key ingredient in remaining competitive in the global economy with its diverse population. It is very important that organizations understand the business case for supplier diversity and align it with their corporate goals. Corporations need to be aware of customers’ purchasing power and appropriately target the various demographic groups to grow their market share while supporting the communities in which they operate. Our team has won several individual awards such as Northern California Supplier Development Council (now WRMSDC) Corporate Coordinator of the Year and Northern California Supplier Development Council MBE Advocate of the Year.

Strategy

Traditional business strategies are under pressure from technology, social media and globalization. As a result, businesses must be willing to be creative with their strategic planning. As companies merge and leaders change, the performance gaps are widening between the successful and unsuccessful organizations. In order to survive and be profitable, companies must be willing to adapt to the ever changing business world and utilize subject matter experts who can provide different approaches to facilitate successful business strategies.
